Now we are really Smokin..!

Since Christmas our prototype Smoke House has been up and running producing some wonderful smoked duck, pheasant and of course bacon and gammon.
With plans for a bigger one situated right by the new shop, we look forward to showing you traditional oak smoking in action. We plan to smoke beef and venison soon and if we can find a source of local fish, we may even smoke that too!
For those of you who have not yet discovered our unique delicious smoked pheasant breast wrapped in Old Spot bacon - we do encourage you to try one.† So easy to cook (one hour at 140 degrees) and great as an easy meal or a very special starter. Price £2 each.
